It will also represent the lowest-cost alternative and easiest fleet addition due to its high commonality with the A330s already operated by SAUDIA.
This aircraft is the first of the 20 A330-300 Regional aircrafts ordered at the 2015 Paris Airshow, and joins SAUDIA’s existing Airbus fleet of 12 A330-300s and 50 A320 Family aircraft.

SAUDIA new record flights
We are very excited to reveal that SAUDIA achieved a new regional flight record by launching 655 flights in one day.
At Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport alone, it was recorded that SAUDIA had successfully completed 188 departures and 168 arrival flights.
This increase in flights was predominantly due to the large amount of Haj and Umrah pilgrims who were travelling in and out of the Kingdom.
We are extremely proud we can accommodate so many passengers smoothly to their destination and look forward to setting new flight records again in the future.
