5 flights boost Saudia presence in Al-Ahsa

 

 

Saudia will operate two flights weekly between Riyadh and Hufouf from May as part of the airline’s efforts to restructure its flights for the summer season to meet the requirements people living in the region and support growing travel needs of people between Saudi cities.

The move follows the arrival of new aircraft ordered by Saudia from Airbus and Boeing and comes in line with Saudia’s plan to strengthen its presence in the Al-Ahsa region.

Plans are also underway to operate a third flight between Jeddah and Hufouf this summer bringing the total number of weekly flights to Hufouf 5.

It is worth mentioning that there were only two flights weekly to Hufouf in the summer schedule of 2012. Saudia decided to increase its flights to the city considering the growing number of air travelers from the region.

The arrival of new aircraft enables the airline to provide more seats to different domestic and international destinations, considering passenger requirements. The new flights from Hufouf offer passengers connections to domestic and international destinations
