1- How do I login to my Alfursan account?

A.

You can login into your Alfursan account, depending on your membership: Members with an online booking profile If you would like to integrate your online booking profile with your Alfursan membership you need to login using your User Name and Password, then select ‘My Alfursan Details’. Alternatively, if you would like to join Alfursan programme, you may login using your online booking User Name and Password, then select ‘Join Alfursan’. Alfursan members using Alfursan site for the first time If you have an Alfursan PIN, please login using your membership number and PIN. If you don't have a PIN yet or have forgotten it, select ‘Registration and login options’ from the home page, then select ‘Option 2’ under section ‘B’ to login using your membership number and name on your membership card. If you have an Alfursan card with a pre-assigned number, or an inactive Alfursan membership number, you can login using your membership number only. Alfursan members who have already registered with the Alfursan website Use your Membership Number/Username and PIN. If you can’t remember your PIN, select ‘Forgot Alfursan PIN’ from the home page. Alternatively, select ‘Registration and login options’, then select ‘Option 2’ under section ‘C’. You will need to provide your user name/Alfursan number, along with the email address stored in your profile to receive your PIN by email. 2- How do I join the Alfursan Programme?

A.

You can enroll for an Alfursan membership in any of the following ways: Online Visit www.saudiairlines.com.sa and sign up online. Once you’ve finished filling in all the required information, you will be issued with an Alfursan membership number and a print version of the Alfursan membership card, as part of the online enrolment process to be used until your plastic card arrives. You can then start using the printed card to earn Alfursan miles whenever you fly with Saudi Arabian Airlines or using Alfursan partners. Once you have received your Membership Number or User Name and your PIN, you can login again and use our online services. You can also use the same PIN to access Alfursan telephone services when calling the Member Service Center. Application Form Members, who have enrolled using application form, can use the enclosed tear-off Alfursan membership card and the pre-assigned number until the plastic card arrives. The tear-off card can be used to earn Alfursan Miles whenever you fly with Saudi Arabian Airlines or using Alfursan partners. Ahlan Wasahlan Application Form The application form is also available on board Saudi Arabian Airlines fights. It is inserted inside the ‘Ahlan Wasahlan” in-flight magazine. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will receive an acknowledgement and your welcome pack which will include your Alfursan Membership card. Please allow up to 6 days for delivery.

5- When do I begin to earn Miles?

A.

Once your application is received with all mandatory information you will be accepted in Alfursan programme and you will be issued a membership number. You will be successfully enrolled and can start earn Alfursan Miles when flying with Saudi Arabian Airlines or transacting with Alfursan partners.

6- What are Status Miles and for how long are they valid?

A.

Status Miles Status Miles are based on the actual mileage flown on any Saudi Arabian Airlines route and determine which membership level you belong to: Blue, Silver or Gold. You earn 100% of the miles flown on all international or domestic routes. Earning of mileage on Europe, USA and multi class concepts destinations are subject to class of travel purchased. For full information of the Multi Class destinations, please refer to the Earning Table. The validity of ‘Status Miles’ starts from the date the activities occurred till 31st December of the year in which they were earned and NOT the date on which they are credited to the member account. On 1 January each year your Status Miles account is set to zero

7- What are Reward Miles and for how long are they valid?

A.

Alfursan Reward Miles are awarded for all travel with Saudi Arabian Airlines, Alfursan partners and Saudia promotions. Your Alfursan Reward Miles are valid for a period of three years from the end of the calendar year in which you earned them. The Reward Miles can be accumulated and redeemed for free flights and upgrades.

8- How can I find out how many Miles have been credited to my Alfursan Account?

A.

We will send you quarterly statements that contain a summary of Status Miles and Reward Miles earned in the last quarter and the total Miles earned in the current calendar year. You can also view these details online.

9- Do I earn the same amount of Miles regardless of what class I travel in?

A.

Miles are earned based on the class of flight traveled. Travels in a higher class will earn you additional Miles. If you fly in Business Class, you will earn a 25% bonus while flights in First Class will earn a 50% bonus. However, flights to Europe, USA and Multi Class destinations operate based on multi class concept. For more information, please refer to Earning Table.

10- What is the Family Programme?

A.

The Family Programme is an additional way for you to earn Miles by allowing you to enroll your family members who are aged 2-18 or nominate members who are aged over 18 years. You can enroll or nominate up to eight family members. In every calendar year you can make two changes to your family membership details.

You can claim your missing miles within 180 days from day of travel by login to your online account and claim your missing flight activities online. Alternatively, you can contact the Alfursan Member Service Centre. Please ensure your original boarding passes, along with copies of your tickets are retained till all missing miles are credited in your account.

All hotel and car rental partners allow you to earn Miles, however with some hotels you will need to become a member of their hotel programme first and select ‘Saudi Arabian Airlines’ as your preferred airline. You must send in a copy of your tickets and the corresponding original boarding passes for processing to the Alfursan Member Service Centre. Alternatively, you can go online to www.saudiairlines.com to report the missing Miles.

18- How will the Miles that I earn be credited to my account?

A.

Every time you make a flight reservation or use any one of the partners, remember to quote your Alfursan membership number. You must present your membership card at the time of check-in or when using the services of a partner.

Your Alfursan membership does not automatically entitle you to a free upgrade - irrespective of your tier level. However, you may exchange your Reward Miles for an upgrade to the next class of service.

20- How do I move from a Blue member to a Silver or Gold member?

A.

To qualify for Silver membership status you have to earn 25,000 Status Miles or have to have flown 20 international sectors on Saudi Arabian Airlines during one calendar year. To continue to enjoy the benefits of Silver membership you have to earn 20,000 Status Miles or to have flown 15 international sectors on Saudi Arabian Airlines during the previous calendar year. To qualify for Gold member status you have to earn 50,000 Status Miles or have flown 40 international sectors on Saudi Arabian Airlines during one calendar year. To continue enjoying the benefits of Gold membership you have to earn 40,000 Status Miles or have flown 30 international sectors on Saudi Arabian Airlines during the previous calendar year.

21- If I do not fly enough to retain my tier status what will happen?

If you do not manage to earn sufficient miles to retain you current tier status, you will be downgraded to the tier lower to your current level.

22- How can I redeem my Miles?

A.

You can redeem the Miles you’ve earned by using: Our online facility Login to your online account and select Reward Request. You can use or retrieve an existing booking to fill the required information on the online Reward Request form. Alternatively, you can fill the required information and agree to the Terms & Conditions on the Reward Request form. Alfursan Reward Request Form Once you have selected the reward you want, all you have to do is fill in Alfursan Reward Request Form that mailed along with your Alfursan statement pack. Fax or mail the request form to the Alfursan Member Service Centre. Members, who are requesting a reward for themselves, may do so over the phone.

25- Is it possible to change or cancel a booked reward?

A.

Yes, you can change and/or cancel a reward booking within 14 days of making the request, as long as the ticket has not been issued and the PNR is still valid. Changes to date have to be made prior to the initial date of travel and the new dates of travel must be within the ticket's validity. Once the ticket has been issued, no change will be allowed at each origin and destination. Reissue charges will apply as per each location. No changes to route, class of service or passenger name will be allowed after the initial 14 day period or the issuing of the ticket.

26- How many rewards can I book at the same time?

You can book as many rewards as your Miles permit at a time. However, only one booking request may be filled in per request form.

27- Will I be charged for booking a reward?

A.

Yes. You will be charged when booking a reward. While the cost of the ticket is waived, you will need to pay taxes, passenger service charges, visa costs and any other customs or government imposed tax applicable from the use of Alfursan rewards.
