Agreement Between the Passenger and Saudia


Thank you for visiting our Website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you start to use the Website. By accessing and using this Website, you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions (the "agreement").


Modification of Terms


We may change these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Changed terms will become effective once posted on the Web site, and will not have any retrospective effect on existing contractual agreements made through this Web site. Your continued use of this Web site after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.


Web check-in


We are glad to present our latest service that makes your airport formalities even easier and comfortable. The web check-in save time at the airport and before you've even packed your suitcase. Follow simple instructions and save precious time.


Web check-in terms and conditions


  • Web check-in is possible as early as 24 hours up to 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
  • Boarding gates close 20 minutes before flight departure; please ensure you arrive for security checks and boarding no longer than 45 minutes of your flight departure.
  • Record locator/ PNR (Saudia Booking Reference) is the six Alphanumeric code provided at the time of reservation.
  • You will be subject to document check at the boarding gate.
  • If you are carrying approved cabin baggage only (one piece total dimension not exceeding 45 inch and maximum weight of 07kgs for guest class & 09kgs for first and business class) which can be stored under the seat or in the overhead pins, proceed directly to the boarding gate.
  • Saudia cannot delay its flights for passengers arriving late and no responsibility can be accepted in such cases.
  • Saudia will cancel the seat assigned to you and booked through our Web check-in if;
  •   - You fail to arrive at the boarding gate in time;

      - You do not hold valid travel document.

  • Passengers traveling on emergency exit row seats must;
  •   - Understand oral and written Arabic or English.

      - Be able and willing to carry out evacuation procedures in the unlikely event of an emergency.

  • Emergency row seats are not allowed for;
  •   - Aged passengers.

      - Temporarily and permanently disabled passengers.

      - Visually/ Speech impaired passengers.

      - Expectant Mothers.

      - Passengers under 15years of age, including passengers with infant.

      - Passenger requiring an extension seat belt to occupy a seat.

      - Sick passengers.

  • Saudia reserves the right to reseat passengers already seated (using WEB check in) on emergency exit seats in order to comply with safety regulations.
  • In the event that the designated aircraft operating a particular flight is changed with another type with different seating configuration, Saudia reserves the right to change the seats booked for you, we may also reserves the right to change the seat for security and regularity reasons. Whoever Saudia will do its best to accommodating the passenger to a seating as close as possible to that booked seat.



Web check-in Eligibility


  • Web check-in is currently available ;
  •   - For "Saudia" domestic flights.

      - For passengers holding a confirmed, valid e-ticket only.

      - For those holding eligible travel document (valid national card/ iqama).

      - For a group of maximum 09 passengers and maximum of four segments per passenger.

      - Traveling with or without baggage.

      - Using a computer that is connected to an Internet along with working LaserJet printer to print boarding passes.



Web check-in Restrictions


  • Web check-in is currently not available to customers who are;
  •   - Holding paper tickets

      - Passengers on standby.

      - Traveling on international destination.

      - Traveling as an unaccompanied minor.

      - Traveling with PET.

      - With special needs that require passenger to see a "Saudia" representative at the airport.



Once the boarding pass is printed


  • Please read the notes printed on your boarding pass carefully.
  • If the passenger is unable to take the flight after printing the boarding pass you can cancel your seat on-line until one hour prior to departure time.
  • If the passenger is unable to take the flight after printing the boarding pass you must contact any "Saudia" sales offices or airport check-in counter to cancel your reservation at least one hour prior to departure time, please inform the agent if you have checked on-line with separate booking, return or through check-in.
  • Passenger will have to present the boarding pass printout along with valid photo identification to the security and to the "Saudia" customer services agent as he/she boards the aircraft at least 45 minutes prior to departure time.
  • If the passenger fails to present the required document, Saudia reserves the right to deny the passenger(s) from boarding.
  • If the passenger has any check-in baggage, the bags will have to be presented at "Saudia" check-in counters well in advance of the boarding time (at least one hour) prior to departure time.
  • Passengers who are eligible to inter the lounge will have to present the boarding pass print to the lounge representative.
  • If the passenger does not report at the boarding gate until 20 minutes prior to departure time then the passenger will be offloaded from the flight as per current procedure used at the airport. The passenger will be liable for applicable gate no show charges.
