Children Traveling

Children are unaccompanied

Saudi Arabian Airlines accepts the travel of unaccompanied minors when traveling alone or with persons aged fifteen years or more.

Saudi Arabian Airlines deals with the following age groups when children traveling are unaccompanied:

  • Children age five and older, who have not attained the age of twelve, can be accepted to travel alone or with another person aged fifteen years or older.
  • Children age twelve to fifteen can be admitted as unaccompanied children or if parents or guardian requested, they may be treated as unaccompanied children.

Newborn Children

There are no restrictions for newborn children to fly on board after their first week of confinement. In the case where the child suffers health problems, they need a medical certified by the attending physician prior to acceptance of travel by air.
